Kabuki Embroidered Diamonds Cushion Rectangular with Pompoms

The inspiration for this design is from an old kimono, which the designer had and loved, not the silk-with-embroidery kind of a kimono but a much humbler cotton one with white criss-cross print on indigo cotton. So a crisp white geometric design of interlocking diamonds embroidered on indigo cotton canvas was created. It is also made in a wonderful sunset-on-Mount-Fuji coral color. It comes with five pompoms on either end - not very Japanese, but pompoms add gaiety to this cushion. It zips off easily and from 2021 onwards, its complimentary cushion pad comes in super-soft 100% recycled polyester, made from repurposed drinks bottles.
